Painted in the autumn at the American Falls, a frequent location that I paint at. The sound of the Falls, which can be an optical illusion, as far as the distance, can mask the sound of 17 jets flying over at the same time. Sort of like 'drowning out the whole world' while painting.
This work is currently on a World Tour and has been published in the April 2008 issue of American Artist magazine
Painted in the Dufferin Islands area of the Niagara Parkway in April where the snow and ice was just beginning to disappear, so there were some strong simple patterns.

J.R. BALDINI
Painted in Niagara Falls on Beaverdams Road near the studio.
A small pond whose lone inhabitant early evening was a crane standing so still during the painting session, it was first thought to be a tree stump.
You will find that J.R.'s landscape paintings have many qualities that will enhance your living space and connect to a moment in time, that you can enjoy and live with in your environment.
A wonderful artist Lawrence C. Goldsmith, who was my mentor for over 30 years, often painted here, as his favorite spot..
